Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a form of therapy in which you meet one-on-one for individualized treatment. The approach is personalized to meet your needs and treatment goals. The initial intake session will be 90 minutes. All following sessions are typically 60 minutes in length. During the initial assessment, the client and therapist will create a treatment and safety plan. The frequency of the sessions is determined by the level of risk and a client's preference.

Group Therapy

Group therapy consists of 4-6 clients who typically meet once per week. Groups are formed based on client needs and focus on a specific theme such as implementing positive parenting, practicing mindfulness, enhancing self-care practices, incorporating holistic wellness, developing emotional intelligence, establishing boundaries, learning healthy coping strategies, improving communication skills, setting and achieving goals, and cultivating self-love, etc. Group therapy is more psychoeducational and less individualized. Group only clients are still required an initial intake assessment for documentation and screening purposes prior to group enrollment. Some clients attend their own individual sessions along with group sessions.

Family Therapy

Family therapy involves some or all members of a family. Typically, there is an identified client who is enrolled for individual therapy first and then family members are invited to sessions as needed. The goal of family therapy is to develop healthy boundaries, learn effective communication skills, and improve family dynamics and relationships within the family system. Family therapy can help navigate unique family challenges.
